The “Mariner Museum” was found in 1993 to mark the centenary of the brand is located on the second floor of the Mariner Flagship Store in Valencia. This magnificent space is situated in the social building of the old factory, in the present district of Patraix, formerly Baronia of Patraix until well entry of the XIX century, which was later annexed to town council of Valencia as a result of socio-economic growth of the city.
Here you can learn a retrospective documents and images of labour and social events which took place throughout the twentieth century: the major expansions and harsh stages of economic difficulties, which have been confronted by end less efforts, professionalism, creativity and team unity.
In the museum, together with our latest collections, you will find a large number of antique emblematic pieces which have represented milestones for the brand through the last 120 years.
Coinciding with their 120th anniversary, Mariner have been awarded the title of “Emblematic Establishment” by Valencia City Council. They have been honoured to participate in the book “Comercios Históricos de Valencia” (Historic Traders of Valencia) in view of their long-standing trade, their significance for the city’s urban development, and for representing a benchmark brand in their sector, as well as being pioneers in the business.
